During your visits to our Breast Care Centre, you may take the opportunity to speak to a Breast Care Nurse in private who will be able to spend time answering any of your questions and reassure you about any worries or concerns you may have.

The Breast Care Nurses work five days a week and can give confidential support and information. They aim to deal with patient concerns efficiently and recognize how important this is, especially during what can be a worrying time.

Breast Care Nurses will visit you during your hospital stay and will monitor your recovery. Sensitivity to the emotional and psychological needs of individual patients is recognised and support will be given.

Patients will also receive advice on after-care and clinic follow-ups.
