Treatments

This section provides information about   the various types of treatments for benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) conditions.

If a benign diagnosis has been made, which requires surgery, this will be explained to you. Arrangements for your admission can be made at either The Chiltern or Shelburne Hospitals and a date arranged at your convenience.

If breast cancer is diagnosed, surgery is usually required. Your consultant surgeon will discuss the most appropriate type of surgery for you, which will depend on a number of factors.
